My name is Astrid, I come from Beijing, and now I'm 22 years old. this is the year2 since i came to London study illustration and visual media major.

2. Why do you think you are who you are? (what has happened to you in your life?)
i am keep working on what I am interested in. my hobbies created me. i am lucky that i was born in a family whose parents and family members support me to find myself doing art.

3. What do you believe to be true about yourself? (how do you know that this is true?)

I am an honest person, I don't like to hide my emotions to myself, I believe that human needs to be communicated, friends, families, they are my spirit. I need them, and also I can feel that they need me too

4. Where have you come from? (physically or mentally)

Physically I come from China
Mentally I believe I don't know
5. Where are you going to? (direction or emotionally)
finally, I will become a part of nature, but I will travel to the world before that.
6. How do others see you? (friends, family, tutors or peers)

they think I am an honest, kind person, my friends treat me like what I treat them, I believe the relationship is mutual.

7. What will be or is your legacy?
I absolutely hope that my legacy is a great of wealth, but in fact, I wish I could save something my special thing.

9. What is your main ambition?

My ambition is beyond yesterday's self, I want to feel so bad every time I look at my paintings and create new and better ones. I've been looking at the work of very good painters, some of whom are not even older than me, yet their work is mature as hell
10. Where will your practice be in 5, 10 or 20 years time (this is daunting but it

can be useful for self-motivation, trust me)
I hope that one day I will be able to illustrate for a company that I like and there are many established works that I can pick and choose what I want to do today.
